Glutathione UltrAbsorb is an acetylated form of glutathione. The majority of plain glutathione is broken down before it can be absorbed and used by the cells. The acetylated form delivers a unique preparation of glutathione that overcomes the usual limitations. The stability of S-acetylglutathione through the intestinal wall and the plasma is well documented in the literature. Use of stomach acid-resistant capsules further protect stability. Laboratory data showed that Glutathione UltrAbsorb increased intracellular glutathione and had a positive effect on many biomarkers of aging. It also increased percent-reduced glutathione, which is a significant biomarker of health status.
